- Dry the plucked leaves at room temperature. For this, the leaves need to be placed in a brown paper bag that has a few holes punched into it. Hang the bag in a cool area for a couple of weeks. The leaves should be dry enough to get separated from the stalks with the bare minimum of effort.
- In order to use the leaves for making tea, you need to ground them into powder. You can tear off the leaves and shred them by hand. You may include the stalks if you want to increase the fiber content in the tea. A blender can work just as well to grind up leaves and stalks
- You can easily store the moringa powder in tea bags or airtight containers. The powder should be stored in a cool and dry place to increase its longevity.
